pilates certification
aboutDeveloped by Kelly Kane, the Kane School certification is a rigorous training program combining the classic principles of Pilates with a modern, clinical perspective on the human body. Known world-wide for its anatomy-based approach, the Kane School program goes beyond choreography to explain why exercises work. Students not only learn classic Pilates repertoire, but also delve deeply into biomechanics, postural imbalances and common injuries. Learn how to listen with your hands. Become a Kane School graduate and join an enriching network of forward-thinking teachers that spans across the country and internationally. NEW! Join us for the Kane School's bi-annual Orientation Day! Aimed at prospective teacher training students, the event consists of a FREE Pilates Mat class and information session led by Kane School founder, Kelly Kane! The next will be on April 21. Sign up here! Bridge Program Already certified in Pilates but interested in supplementing your knowledge with a Kane School certification? Mentor Program Are you a certified Pilates instructor looking to dig deeper into your education? Do you want the experience of one-on-one mentorship with a seasoned teacher to help guide your development as an instructor? Do you want to become an expert in a selected topic (an anatomy guru, a injury guru)? Then, this is the program for you! A six-month intensive mentorship, this program is designed to help certified instructors blossom into gifted and dedicated teachers. During the program, participants will gain advanced level education in Pilates (including programming, choreography, and teaching) and select an area of intensive concentration: Anatomy, Injuries and Rehabilitation, or The Art of Teaching. During the program, participants will work one-on-one with either Kinected studio director Matt McCulloch or Kane School founder Kelly Kane to achieve the program's goals. Learn more. |
