physical therapy acupuncture
New @ kinected: Acupuncture therapy, offered by Steven Arboleda!
Steven Arboleda is a graduate of the Swedish Institute and has been working as a licensed massage therapist since 1997, primarily in physical therapy and chiropractic facilities. Looking for a way to help his clients find relief for injuries beyond massage, he enrolled in Touro College's School of Oriental Medicine in 2004. After learning both Acupuncture and Herbs, he graduated with a masters in Oriental Medicine in 2009. In addition to his background in massage and acupucture, he has been a long time practitioner and teacher of Chinese Internal Martial Arts, as well as Tai chi and Qi Gong. Steve approaches the body primarily from an Eastern point of view; he believes in the classical style of Chinese medicine, which maintains strong link to its roots in the past but is not restricted by them. This style welcomes new insights and developments in the treatment of patients, which may include massage, movement-based practices such as Pilates, Qi Gong, physical therapy, diet therapy and herbs. He works with his patients to achieve orthopedic and overall body health.
Acupuncture helps to decrease stress, break up muscular adhesions, and heal injuries that can prevent proper function, alignment and strength normally found through a Pilates and GYROTONIC® practice. Integrating acupuncture into your regular movement & wellness routine can help you break unhealthy movement patterns and achieve overall physical health. book a session We are committed to creating a communication thru-line between your health care providers.
