Deb Goodman, MSPT, will be here for her popular Pilates Through Pregnancy workshop, and she will ALSO be opening hours from 9am-12pm on Friday, 4/26 to see clients privately & semi-privately. Her masterclass, Pre & Postnatal Pilates: a masterclass for moms, is open to anyone who would like to learn how to work out safely during and after your pregnancy!

Get your spot in the Pre & Postnatal Pilates: a masterclass for moms, where women will have the unique opportunity to exercise under the direct supervision of a trained women’s health physical therapist. Moms & moms-to-be will learn fundamental exercises to be practiced during pregnancy and postpartum, gaining insight into their changing anatomy and how it impacts posture, muscle tone, and health. They will learn how to safely exercise the whole body, & take away techniques to aid in labor & delivery as well as to help reduce back/pelvic pain and other pregnancy complaints. $20; no mat class pkgs apply.
Debbi Goodman is a licensed manual physical therapist with specialties in women’s health, dance medicine, and sports medicine. She has been a physical therapist for Westside Dance Physical Therapy, New York City Ballet, School of American Ballet, and the Kane School. Debbi has had a private women’s health/orthopedic practice in New York City, and since moving to the Albany area in 2004, she has developed a private practice in the Capital District. Debbi is one of the few physical therapists trained in internal evaluation and treatment of the pelvic floor muscles. In addition, she is specifically skilled in treatment of pregnancy problems including: sciatica, back/neck pain, pelvic pain, and rib pain, and postpartum problems including: cesarean section recovery, urinary incontinence, pelvic/vaginal pain, and post-delivery scars. Debbi also teaches multiple continuing education workshops for physical therapists, trainers, and Pilates instructors focusing on educating professionals on exercise during pregnancy, and she is an instructor for prenatal and postpartum group fitness classes.
