upcoming kinectED: Strategies for Pelvic Floor Training with Kelly Kane

As Pilates Professionals, working the pelvic floor is part of the communal conversation on how to work the core. But alas, it’s daunting to understand how to assess actual engagement of the “undercarriage” and choose which exercises and programming options could optimize recruitment of the pelvic floor. And who wouldn’t want to discuss and explore everything pelvic floor with the incomparable Kelly Kane?! Join her this month for 4 hours of pelvic floor exploration, where you’ll review basic anatomy and talk about which cues work for men and women and which movements optimize recruitment of the pelvic floor so that our pelvic floor muscles can become active participants in exercise.

Additional information covered manual assessment, correction skills, faulty biomechanics and postural patterns which can leave the pelvic floor out of the exercise loop and what we can do to correct them. Kelly will also have the newest personal biofeedback units to review, along with discount codes to share so that you can get your pelvic floor strength optimized at a discount!
