Laura Neese came to Pilates by way of dance, injury, and curiosity, and fell in love with the method as a way to understand one’s own body and support healthy movement. She believes every body is a creative body, and works with individuals from a range of ages and movement backgrounds to create and maintain healthy movement patterns, cultivate positive relationships to their own bodies, and promote more satisfying physical engagement in the world.
She holds a Comprehensive Pilates Certification from Kinected, MFA from the Ohio State University, and BFA & BA from SUNY Buffalo. Laura is also an active Dance Artist and Educator based in the New York City area, with teaching experience in community centers, cultural centers, K-12, and higher education.
