Maria, a lifelong dancer from Spain, discovered her passion for Pilates 19 years ago while working as a professional dancer in NYC. She pursued her Pilates training at the renowned Kane School (Kinected) and earned her PMA/NCPT certification. With a commitment to ongoing education, Maria has built expertise in anatomy, posturology, and scoliosis.
Maria’s experience includes working with clients managing hip replacements, disc herniations, stenosis, osteoporosis, arthritis, knees and shoulders injuries, She also enjoys working with dancers or training athletes like NFL players ( through a Pilates program she developed). After becoming a Personal Trainer by NASM, Maria worked at St. John Clark Pain Treatment Center and Body Center St. Pete in Florida, deepening her understanding of body alignment and neurosomatic therapy.

Also, Maria’s case study research about tibial torsion was part of the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) conference in 2021.

Now back in NYC, Maria enjoys a diverse clientele, from beginners to advanced practitioners, who enrich her teaching daily.
