Instructor Spotlight: Meet Anna!

Meet Anna!

web-5Anna M. Vollmar has been a master teacher of dance based in New York City for 7 years. She has traveled and taught throughout the US, Canada, Europe, and Mexico. Her love of dance led her to a passion for anatomy and body alignment, finding freedom in movement from the stability Pilates brings to the body. She began her studies and certification at the Kane School of Core Integration for mat and equipment Pilates, a program which gives specialized information in anatomy, biomechanics, touch therapy, and experience with all populations of people. She continues to teach dance classes through the renowned studio Broadway Dance Center in NYC, as well as teaching Pilates in well respected studios in Manhattan and Brooklyn. She has a trained eye while working with dancers, but loves to work with athletes and non-movement professionals alike! She also has experience with multiple sclerosis, pre-natal, osteoporosis, back/knee/shoulder/ankle injuries, postural issues, as well as reaching fitness goals… Anna is continually excited by this journey of seeking and sharing knowledge about the awe-inspiring human body!

Anna works on Monday and Friday evenings and Sunday during the day, taking over our 2pm reformer immersion class. Find out a little more about her here:
