FAMI Alum Fun: Madeline Black

373008_294345940590403_1792057380_nAs we gear up for another highly-anticipated FAMI workshop, we reached out to some distinguished teachers and practitioners for their perspective on FAMI  and its lingering effects. See what master teacher Madeline Black, author of Centered: Organizing the body through kinesiology, movement theory and Pilates techniques had to say:

“Studying through seeing, touching the body in the presence of true experts is by far a powerful way to expand one’s skill as a movement practitioner whether teaching Pilates, Yoga or fitness. FAMI is an unique experience giving you the opportunity to experience the human body in a way that will change how you see movement, touch the body and comprehend the connectedness of all the systems in movement. I highly recommend FAMI to all people working with the body.”
