20 Apr healthy hint: pillow talk
Do you suffer from sleepless nights? Do you often toss in turn attempting to find that perfect spot where you can rest and the pain in or around shoulder or neck will finally, finally stop?
One simple solution may be the position of your humerus and scapula.
When you lie on your side your humerus and scapula is not only compressed but maybe protracted forward which can often irritate the shoulder joint, particularly if you have an underlying rotator cuff injury.
Try sleeping with a large pillow underneath your arm. This prop can help promote the ideal ergonomics for your shoulder and decrease the compression and irritation.
A dense pillow is probably ideal.
